I was initially hesitant after reading all the other reviews, but my builder (who was very trustworthy) said that they had dealt with DM certifiers and SPC a few times and had no issues. I was advised by numerous neighbours and locals not to use Parramatta Council for certification, so I reluctantly used DM certifiers/SPC certifiers even in spite of the past bad reviews. I think most of the bad experiences by other clients must have been due to the certifiers following the rules. They did make me meet all of the conditions that the beurocratic council imposed, which was annoying/costly, but they were prompt with the construction certificate and final occupancy certificate, after we had met all of the requirements and provided all of the documentation (within a day or two).
